Diamond dealer Louis Liebenberg, who has given millions of rands to Jacob Zuma to help the former president cover his legal costs, is running for Parliament as an independent candidate.
Despite Liebenberg's support for Zuma, he is not running as a member of the MK Party, but as an independent.
The 59-year-old's name will appear on regional ballets in the Free State, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng when South Africans go to the polls next month, according to the IEC.
