Small enough to fit into the palm of your hand, baby turtles have started to wash up along South Africa's coastline, in what conservationists call "stranding season".

Cold, hungry, dehydrated and exhausted, turtle hatchlings face daunting odds if they hope to survive.

But the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation's Turtle Conservation Centre and a network of volunteers are giving these endangered animals a second chance.
