Residents in Macassar, Cape Town, are angry about the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa's (Prasa) plans to relocate illegal occupants along the Central Line to the area.
Prasa confirmed plans to acquire land in Macassar from private owners to relocate the occupiers living along the Central Line tracks.
Prasa has been battling with around 5 195 households in informal structures erected at Langa Station, Philippi Station and Khayelitsha Station.
