Johannesburg – South Africans are still financially stressed, making it harder for households to save, the Old Mutual Investment and Saving Monitor for 2017 revealed.
The survey looks at the saving and investment behavior and attitudes of metro, working South Africans. This consists of face-to-face interviews with 1000 South Africans. It was released on Wednesday.
Among the main findings is that South Africans are financially stressed, a repeated trend from previous years, explained Lynette Nicholson, research manager at Old Mutual.
