Discovery offices now have puppies to boost employee wellness

Discovery has rolled out pooch-based therapy to help employees cope with workplace stress and improve their mental well-being.

The insurance and investment group has partnered with Woodrock Animal Rescue's Paws@Work initiative to allow employees at its Sandton headquarters to relieve stress by interacting with therapy dogs during office hours on select days.

The dogs, which are specially trained by Woodrock Animal Rescue, are brought to the ground floor of 1 Discovery Place where employees can freely interact with them.
