The JSE's All-Share index fell more than a percent on Thursday, as large platinum shares continue to slump, with Implats (-4.8%) and Sibanye (-4.5%) the biggest losers.
Pick n Pay has now lost more than a fifth of its value over the past week, with its shares down another 3% on Thursday in the wake of a large half-year loss. Richemont gained more than 1% while Absa also rose almost 1%.
