Choose investments rather than once-off payments; don't over-commit and get into debt; and consult a financial planner who understands "black tax".

This was the advice offered by financial experts at a webinar hosted by PSG Financial Services, discussing what South Africans call black tax: a commitment by many young black professionals to assist their families and communities financially.
