Cape Town's iconic independent cinema The Labia will reopen on Friday, 21 August.
The cinema said in a statement that they had received government approval to reopen under strict Covid-19 protocols.
They have put strict safety measures in place which include temperature screening, social distancing markers on the floor, mandatory masks, hand sanitiser readily available and deep cleaning of the cinemas and public spaces.

Audiences are limited to a maximum of fifty per screening, and booking through Webtickets is recommended.
Moviegoers can look forward to seeing the following three opening films.
Misbehaviour - a British feel-good comedy-drama set in London in 1970 and centred on the Miss World beauty pageant.
Marianne & Leonard: Word of Love - a documentary about Leonard Cohen and his muse Marianne Ihlen.
The Invisible Man - a reboot of the classic H.G. Wells thriller starring Elisabeth Moss.
