In The Hitchhiker’s Guide to AI: A Handbook for All (Macmillan), Arthur Goldstuck offers just that – an accessible guide to what AI does and how it could help us all if we know how to use it properly. At the launch of the book, Goldstuck spoke to veteran journalist and broadcaster John Perlman about the challenges of this new technology. Here is an edited transcript of their conversation.
