This trend, popularised in the Western world and Europe, draws inspiration from seasons like winter and autumn, accompanied by extreme snow weather conditions, inspiring makeup artists and individuals to incorporate elements like snow and frost into their makeup artistry.

Khanyisile Khensani Nyathi, the owner of Beats By KhiKhi, explained that the look not only adds external elements to the face but also mimics the appearance of a cold face under extremely low temperatures.
