At the historic entrance to Stellenbosch, in Bosman's Crossing, a little part of Italy (Friuli, to be precise) has been taking root for the last 17 years. Incongruous perhaps, given that Stellenbosch is the unofficial wine capital of South Africa, but the Dalla Cias of Friuli have played an integral role in SA wine history since their arrival in Stellenbosch in 1974, thus only fitting.
