Northern Cape's Arthur Jantjies earned himself PB in Durban

Arthur Jantjies has earned himself a new personal best time of 2:19:42 during the Durban International Marathon on Sunday, 28 April, as well as another top spot in a marathon.

Jantjies, a member of Kgosi Galeshewe Athletics (KGA) in Kimberley and a long-distance athlete of Athletics Griqualand West (AGW), ended in tenth position.

On 14 April, Jantjies participated in the Two Oceans Half Marathon, and was placed sixth out of a field of more than 17 000, in a time of 01:19:07.

Recently, Jantjies has won the Diamond Marathon, Meerkat Marathon, Kloppers Marathon, and Magersfontein Trail Run.
