The revelations that rogue elements in the police put News24 journalist Jeff Wicks under surveillance are disturbing, but unsurprising.
According to sources inside the police, Wicks was put under surveillance to uncover his sources of information about ructions within the police’s troubled Crime Intelligence division. Apparently, the rogue spies used a ‘grabber’ to try and identify his sources, in addition to putting him under physical surveillance.
