The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has put in place all the "necessary measures" to help South Africa bring brothers Atul and Rajesh Gupta to justice, but there is one little problem: they don't know where the brothers are.
In early June, after meeting with his Emirati counterparts about the failed extradition request for alleged state capturers Rajesh and Atul Gupta, Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola said in a statement: "The UAE has put in place all the necessary measures to meet its international obligations and assist and support South Africa in its quest to bring justice to the Republic of South Africa and the UAE."
According to the statement, a task team of the two countries would meet to allow the countries to collaborate closely, ensuring the fair administration of justice.
