The DA has set its sights on gaining control of Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal in the upcoming general elections, and has reminded South Africans living abroad that every vote counts.
The party also wants the government to increase the number of voting centres for South African expats.
At an online DA event, DA federal chairperson Helen Zille told attendees from Australia and New Zealand that recent polls indicated a DA-led coalition government was on the cards for Gauteng and even for KwaZulu-Natal. This would give the DA two more provinces under its belt. It already governs the Western Cape.
