The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) says it has been receiving widespread support from students since allegations surfaced service providers contracted by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) paid millions of rand in kickbacks to Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande and the chairperson of the board, Ernest Khosa.
OUTA's head of investigations, Rudie Heyneke, said they were receiving support and congratulations from students and student organisations, including the SA Union of Students (SAUS) and the SA Students Congress (Sasco).
