The bridge to McGregor in the Western Cape will finally be reopened on Tuesday – three weeks after access to and from the area was cut off due to flooding.
However, repairs to the damaged N2 highway, which was washed away when the Bot River burst its banks, could take another four weeks, according to Randall Cable, the Western Cape manager of the SA National Roads Agency (Sanral).
