Not long after he began his spell as the Eastern Cape Iinyathi head coach, Paul Adams got a text from fellow former Western Province and Proteas player Rory Kleinveldt asking him if he'd found an interesting talent in the region.  

Adams told him about a 19-year-old leg-spinner he thought had a high ceiling but was understandably raw. This week, Adams sent Kleinveldt a screen shot of their conversation with the caption: "Do you remember this? The Bra is playing for South Africa now!"
