Shortly after local music dynamite Tyla scooped a Grammy award, South African entertainment received another bunch of flowers as internationally renowned animators Triggerfish bagged multiple awards over the past few weeks.

Their series Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, streaming on Disney+, proudly walked away with the prestigious Annie Award for Best Limited Series (TV/Media) in Los Angeles, USA, on Saturday, 17 February. A few days prior, the groundbreaking series scooped the Kidscreen Award for Best Animated Series (Tweens/Teens) in San Diego.
