Siyahleba was never known for her mathematical prowess, but her English marks were not so bad. Even with that, Siya has been left scratching her head trying to make sense of remarks by Limpopo Premier Stan Mathabatha.
Responding to a question at an M&G event he said:
When the audience laughed, an irate Mathabatha hit back, saying he could not be held responsible for the ignorance of those laughing at him. He boasted about being a teacher.

The two obscure parties, Spectrum National Party and the Unemployed Peoples’ Movement, failed to garner the requisite signatures to contest the polls.
While this is embarrassing, at least they saved the money that would have been lost on registering.
