A CITY of Cape Town cop is lucky to be alive after he was saved by his belt during a gun attack.
The cop and his colleagues were on patrol in Nyanga when they saw a suspicious-looking Toyota Avanza around 7pm on Sunday, 24 March.
The officers tried to stop the bronze Toyota, but the driver refused to follow the cops' instructions.
