Legislators have questioned how the Auditor-General (AG) and Treasury could still be locked in a seemingly intractable dispute over a non-performing IT system that has cost taxpayers more than R800 million.
At an oversight briefing to Parliament on Tuesday, officials from the AG told the Standing Committee on Finance that the fight had yet to be resolved and may end up in court.
