After baring its soul before the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into State Capture and earning praise from Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, technology group EOH says it is regaining the trust of clients since being tainted by corruption scandals.
The company's annual financial performance for the 2022 financial year showed significant improvement in key areas, in what its executives say is evidence that the company has turned over a new leaf.
The 2022 financial year saw EOH revenue stabilise at R6 billion from continuing operations and nearly doubling operating profit from R55 million to R100 million, with a significant reduction in debt. The group still made an R18 million loss, however, raising an extra R42 million in provisions as it looks to put its over-billing of government departments behind it.
