Markus Jooste's rumoured former lover launches new bid for R150 000 a month

Berdine Odendaal, the rumoured former romantic interest of late Steinhoff CEO Markus Jooste, is not backing down in her fight to access hundreds of thousands of rands in her frozen bank accounts. 

Odendaal has already lost two court bids to have the Reserve Bank cover her legal costs and reinstate the R150 000 a month which it previously paid her for "all reasonable living expenses".

She has now applied for leave to appeal to argue her case before the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein.
