Shares in Naspers and Prosus weakened on Tuesday, but probably not in reaction to CEO Bob van Dijk's sudden exit after about a decade at the helm, analysts said on Monday.
Shares in both companies were down by 3% earlier in the day but clawed back some of their losses before the end of the trading. Naspers lost 1.7% to R3 180.
The group's consumer internet arm Prosus, the R1.6 trillion company which Van Dijk had also headed since it was spun out of Naspers in 2019, fell 2% to R588.
