Sanlam's share price slipped on Thursday after it announced it had raised its final dividend by 11% thanks to record earnings in 2023.
The insurance and investment group reported a strong performance across its business clusters to end-December, but its shares were down almost 3% in afternoon trade.
They have still jumped by almost 22% in the past year, valuing the group at almost R159 billion.
