In a few weeks' time, KPMG will publish the next instalment of its Transparency Report.

The annual publication, which seeks to provide information about the compendium of issues that an audit firm of its stature believes are important to articulate to the public and other stakeholders, has served as an important tool of trade for the firm since 2018.

Prior to that, KPMG – alongside other firms – operated under the occasional yoke of scepticism about whether their public interest commitments matched their actual business practices.
