Mlungisi "Professor" Ngubane believes the feud between Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena and his counterpart at TS Galaxy, Sead Ramovic, is what our football needs right now.

The two DStv Premiership coaches have not been seeing eye-to-eye for quite some time now.

Following their impressive 3-0 win over the Rockets, the Sundowns coach accused the opposition of intentionally injuring his player Bongani Zungu.

Mokwena believes this was to revenge for what Zungu did to Galaxy striker Bernard Parker earlier this season.

Galaxy player Orebotse Mongae's bad tackle on the lanky midfielder saw him receive a red card, with the Sundowns player being taken off just a few minutes after coming on as a substitute.

"I saw the tackle. What a coincidence," exclaimed Ngubane, speaking to KickOff.

"Why it had to be Zungu, I'm not sure.

Was it personal? I'm not sure.

It made it look like Mongae was avenging his teammate when, in fact, that might not be the case.

"The Galaxy player was looking for the ball, but he did that coming from the wrong side," he said.

The former dribbling wizard went on to comment on the ugly spat between the two coaches.

"As for the two coaches, I think it has to do with their egos more than anything else.

"The other one might think because he is using ordinary players he might be better than Rulani, who has all the quality players in South Africa.

"But I believe Rulani and Manqoba Mngqithi are also doing a very good job by keeping these big-name players focused.

"A good example is Kaizer Chiefs who have good players, but because their coach doesn't know how to manage them, they are struggling.

"So, Rulani and Ramovic are both good coaches in different platforms. It's nice to have coaches creating this sort of rivalry, it makes our football exciting. It attracts more people to go to the stadium.

"I don't think it's personal though. I think their fight is about football, it's about who is the better coach between them."
