The alleged organiser of the assassination of rapper, Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and murder of his friend, businessman Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane, has admitted that he received R800 000, which he then transferred to his co-accused a day after the murders.
But according to him, the money was received from a "reputable company" with whom he had done business and the payment transferred to his co-accused was compensation for security services rendered to him.
Mziwethemba Gwabeni, 36, and six others face an array of charges, including murder, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, as well as money laundering.
