It's not exactly groundbreaking news that eating fresh food is good for you. The recommendation to eat five servings of fruits and veggies a day has been around for decades.

But a growing number of health experts are now saying that eating fresh food is the single most important thing you can do for your health.

Why? Because most of what you eat isn’t really food, says nutrition expert Dr Chris van Tulleken. It’s ultra-processed “food” that’s extremely tasty and highly addictive – and it’s making us sick.
